Mic won't output audio

Hii Guys,
I have bought a new microphone for streaming but it won't capture any audio. I have updated the audio drivers for the motherboard and still the same issue.

Which mic and what does it connect to? ie- tape deck, PA system, DJ equipment, pc...?

The mic I am using Aukey GD-G1 and it is plugged directly into the Pc

I have selected the microphone but no audio isn't being produced

I have bought an external USB sound card but the same issue of no audio from the mic. Any ideas what to do?
