If I recall correctly the last one you we're unable to communicate with people on the old dashboard. Is it the same way with this new update? Will I be able to talk to people on my friends list who don't have the update?

How about your read the article, you could learn something.

Current dashboard sucks. I miss the old one. I like more than 40% of my background theme being shown in the dashboard, after I have spent Microsoft points buying them.

Nope, MS have decided to create an artificial rift right down the middle of their customer base where the people who upgrade can play games with each other, chat, it will make you taller, richer and more attractive to women.

Whilst the people who don't upgrade will have all their games deleted, not be able to talk to anyone, a funny smell will start to come from the console, you will get warts and it will turn you gay.

MS Tool, MS and others are slowly getting a stranglehold on the tools who embrace the cloud.

[citation][nom]back_by_demand[/nom]Steam has been doing this for ages[/citation]

Except that Steam only suggests and makes it available, Microsoft will probably start either enabling it themselves on games, or at the very least requiring it for new games.

I have some 200 games on Steam, and I reckon not even 20% of those use Steam Cloud, so it's not really worth bragging about.
