I'm assuming you can't see RDP but only remote assistance?
yes, I can only see remote assistance.
I was afraid of that. That means your using windows Home edition, not the Pro model which allows RDP to work as a host.
Both Home and Pro models come with RDP, but only the Professional version comes with the ability to use RDP as a host.
You have two options:
1. Upgrade to the Pro version of windows. (the Home to Pro upgrade costs roughly $100.)
2. Or use something like
RealVNC. (I use it all the time and it works great!)
