I find Word Starter unnecessary and annoying. How do I disable it? I am using Windows 7 and MS Office 2010.

Thanks! Your first answer assumed that I was something of an expert at my computer. It was what is called a COIK statement: Clear Only If Known.
It happens a lot these days.
Spelling it out just a teeny bit worked. I am now rid of it.
