its just the ps3 fanboys that complain about the 360. mines failed once but i still recon its better then my ps3 because of its games (ps3s exclusive library is kinda bland, minus mgs4 & lbp of course)

"54.2-percent of 5,000 subscribers surveyed said they had at least one Xbox 360 console fail, and 41.2-percent claiming at least two hardware failures."

And all that answered were not only age and stupidity verified, but also indeed owners ALL of them of 360's and none also fanboys rating out of their asses. Whata joke. nuff said. Some should be capable to think for themselves. This is just too funny that keeps going around and noone has said shit about it from MS. Im wondering why.. 😵

I was in the store today and the games were pretty much identical for both systems. The PS3 game numbers are equaling out now so the crapbox 360 owners will not be able to say the 360 has all the games. I guess they can say they can get Halo 6 or 7 as MS keeps milking it out for every penny they can.

[citation][nom]Zoonie[/nom]I don't see why people get so upset with this article. Although I can agree with most that a personal issue should not affect the objectivity of an article, I must however say that I believe he is absolutely correct in his 'request'.This kind of product quality shouldn't be accepted by anyone. I can't understand how people think it's "ok" to have 5 or 6 consoles repaired. What happens when you run out of warranty and it keeps breaking down? Would you really be happy paying for another console? C'mon.[/citation]
We're not "ok" with it, but we just have to deal with it. I'm on my 4th Xbox myself, but there's really nothing I can do. For me, the 360 has the best games, so I'm not gonna switch to the PS3 because I couldn't play for two and a half weeks At the same time I can't afford to drop $300 on a better version, so I'm forced to just put up with it and get these doomed-to-fail "repaired" consoles.

A lot of fanboys complaining about article because it suggests xbox 360 failure is a bad thing, even though almost all of them have said they've had at least one xbox fail on them.

No we are trying to point out the objectivity of the article. Of course none of us are happy if are Xbox 360's broke. And they probably should fix them no matter what when they knowingly put an inferior product on the market. I just don't want to read it in the "news".

And to make good on my initial comment in this article, this will be my last post here. Enjoy what's left of this train wreck.

[citation][nom]duckmanx88[/nom]another reason why PC World is better. no retarded fanboys to defend a product thats manufactured horribly.[/citation]
Where have you been if you haven't noticed all the Intel, AMD, nvidia, and ATI fanboys? Not that I'm trying to defend any Xbox fanboys but they exist in every circle. It's the same kind of ignorance that has driven the Ford vs Chevy debate for decades.

It's the kind of people who drive nothing but Chevy's because "that's all their Daddy would ever drive", or only use nvidia cards because their friend told them three years ago "nvidia rulz" and they never bothered to find out if that was really true or if anything maybe changed in that time period.

I HATE people who point out typos......they are complete morons. Isn't Toms in Germany translates into English? Wow, maybe that's why?.....give em a break and just read the F****** articles, oh - and shut up!

Uou mean to say Tom's is Nazi propaganda? I thought Tom's was pinko Communist propaganda. ;-)

Interesting.... I am waiting for my mailing label right now to return my Xbox 360 Elite because of the E74 error. I bought the "elite" last year because it was supposedly a new design and not susceptible to these issues. However here I am with a dead Xbox, it died last week. So much for the redesign fixing the problem...

This really didn't state anything new. You had one quote. It was pretty much a regurgitation of what was said earlier from a different perspective. This really doesn't convince me that the 360 has improved upon its old failure rate.

i thought they fixed the problem with the new xboxes??? does anyone know what's going on. i thought it was the result over heating and they fixed it by putting larger heatsink and cooler running, smaller nm chip.

was your xbox well ventilated???

it could be an improperly mounted gpu heatsink or a dislodged one, did you like drop the unit? maybe in shipping, maybe they just didn't put it on right... ;(

So did I, and yes it was well ventilated, no I did not drop it... in fact it's been sitting in the same spot since it was bought last year. It hasn't been moved let alone dropped. It simply worked in the morning and when we tried to turn it on in the evening it came up with the E74 error when we turned it on. Now that's all it does. It wasn't on and overheated, or even on when it failed, it simply decided it wasn't going to work anymore.

I have all the consoles and the 360 quality is a joke. I had one RRoD and anticipate another now that my 3 years is up. MS saying everything is okay is complete crap.
