I thought you were American. (I've never heard any non-British people refer to a TV like that... unless they were making fun of the British.) PS: Is it really written like that? I would think you'd simply say tele or something like that (like the French). I guess you learn something new every day.

Nope, Irish! Dublin, to be more precise. And yes, it's really spelled like that. :)

[citation][nom]zingam[/nom]And we moon people have neither rain, nor winds.[/citation]Do meteor showers count?
[citation][nom]pink315[/nom]Considering I live in the U.S and I don't have healthcare. I hope I live long enough to play it at all[/citation]Yes, my word, how did we ever survive without universal healthcare and lawyers to sue doctors?

Gee, let me move the yacht out of the garage, and i'll just set it up in there. On second thought, maybe I'll just clear some space in my library for it.

Thanks microsoft. LOL, this reminds me of the article a few months ago where the webcams face tracking couldn't see black people. "Just a minor overlook, go ahead put it in production." IDIOTS!!

Can't believe you guys are believing this MS spin - how much does a couple of cheap plastic fish-eye lenses cost? Any excuse just to build the anticipation.

If I get rid of the furniture in my living room apartment I might be able to do it. On second thought no thanks. My sofa is great for afternoon siestas.

I live IN San Francisco, and I'd need to make well into 6 figures of salary to afford a place big enough to allocate 4 meters. I'm sure those in NYC can empathize with this as well.

[citation][nom]cj_online[/nom]Considering I live in Canada, I'll just play it outside in the snow... although i do despise playing video games in a winter jacket.[/citation]
Oh, how about the below 0 Celsius 50km/h winds during a blizzard?
I'd love to play Crysis 2 in that. I honestly would.

I could do that if I was willing to remove a wall or move the television, but then again, I play my xbox on my monitors in a room I can barely walk in. =D

Somehow, I have this feeling that Natal may not be as successful as MS wants it to be. It may be a big investment flop. Perhaps the time is not yet right for such technology. However, who knows. I do not read the future. This is just my subjective opinion.

I have the space but my problem here is that there is no way to play these games without the exaggerated movements. I mean I like the wii its great fun in a group. But sometimes I like to sit down and use minimal wrist movements that produce the same result as a full swing in baseball.

Anycase there goes any use by dorm bound college students.

Then move to some Socialist country, oh wait the Socialist wannabe Hugo Shavez loving Obummer and his Demorat buddies have for the time being passed Socialized medicine just for you and all the other leftist Americans who want to live under Government control. Lets see what multiple State lawsuits and the November elections do when we, the believers in freedom throw out those Dictator wannabe hacks in DC right now.
You do know all those scum in DC are exempt from this monstrosity they just shoved down the throat of America.

[citation][nom]waxdart[/nom]Considering I live in England, I'll just play it outside in the drizzle.[/citation]

Considering I live in Washington, I'll be in the rain with the Irish guy.

I have twice the required room... but why would I want to stand 13 ft away from my TV? Maybe if it were a monster TV but its "only" a 42".
Hope it is a misunderstanding. I don't nor will I ever own an Xbox but I expect they will probably bring the tech to PC.

For all the people who saying it's the max, it's not, it's saying that because the camera sees in a cone shaped field, so for optimum area of playing, you will need to be 13ft away. The closer you are, the less area is picked up by the camera sensor. FFS, do you really need 8ft to play in?
