Mini computer/32" Samsung smart TV through HDMI - no sound.
I called Samsung Tech Support, the answer was - not compatible. Can't believe it!
The same computer worked fine with my other TV set.

Well first thing that comes to mind is getting a tv that is compatible with it.

Or

Jimmy rigging something to split the audio out of the hdmi with something like this

But I dont know if that will be compatible with it either.

Dumb idea: Have you gone into the computer, open the audio applet, maybe you have to manually tell it "AUDIO TO SAMSUNG" - My little Samsung 25" is like that, you want it to be automatic, but whatyagonnado.
