Mobile built in mic

I have a headset with a built in mic (Dixon) I want to know how to use it on my phone (samsung galaxy note 4). Does anybody know how?

Hey, how are you Zoey? You have to be more specific with what mic you have. Galaxy 4s have bluetooth. If your mic has bluetooth as well, then you should be good to go! Can you link the specific model?

I'm not sure if phones can use the headset mic unless it's a pair of earphones with a mic, and even then it's inconsistent with which ones actually work
