Moderm and tv antenna connection problem

I did away with spectrum tv but kept the internet and phone. I purchased a digital tv antenna and am having a problem. Right now the coaxial cable comes out of the wall to the modem. I need to split that cable from the wall to the modem, but when I do my modem does not work properly. So my question is: How do I get my modem and digital tv antenna to work off of this cable line?

The antenna connects directly to the TV not the modem. You can't use the same coax RF cable that is an input for the modem for both functions.
If there is a now unused RG6 cable that goes from the area of the modem to the TV you can connect the antenna to it with a female to female F connection coupler.
