Monitor will not work

I have an old aspire 4730z laptop with a broken screen. I tried to connect a monitor to it but it will not work. I have tried everything I can think fn + f5 does nothing. The only way it will work is in safe mode. What do I do?

Try Fn + F3 or Fn + F5 or Fn + F8 or or Fn + F9

Hi, remove the broken screen, anyway, you do not use it, the laptop should use the monitor instead of its own screen.
