Another quest that involves slaying a monster you have killed before. And it is one of its kind quests because unlike the quests where you again face a monster, you will be again facing an elder dragon.
And the only difference this time is just the location. So that means you practically just need to again defeat the elder dragon that you defeated before. So the objective of the quest is to slay Teostra. Yes, the same dragon that you fought previously. It may be a bit challenging to fight this one as it is a very strong opponent, you will not find it much arduous. This is because you have defeated it once so doing it again shouldn’t be a problem. Anyways, if you successfully complete the objective, you will be rewarded with a generous amount of 18000z which you got the last time you defeated this monster. You will be given a window of 50 minutes to defeat the monster but if you fail to do that, you will fail the quest. You will also fail it if you faint three times during the quest. Lastly, you will be required to have a hunter rank of 14 which you should have by now. Anyways, with the basics out of the way, let’s start the quest:
- The only thing that has changed in the quest is the location and nothing else, not even the powers of your enemy. And the good thing is that it is now even easier to fight the Teostra as there will be no magma-filled locations for the Teostra to hide in and that removes the need for consuming cool drinks.
- Although the location has changed, that doesn’t mean you will not have to be prepared for this monster. Just make sure to have a good meal and bring the weapons that have the water and ice elements and also the poison ailment.
- Once you are ready to face the monster, you will find it in the AREA 8. You know it has short and long fire attacks where it breathes fire. You also know that likes to charge as well. So keep these things in mind when you are fighting it and make sure to dodge its attacks as much as you can.
- Lastly, the monster is weak against water and ice elements and vulnerable to stun and poison ailment. Also, its wings and head are breakable and the tail is severable. So fight the monster knowing these things and kill it as soon as you can.
Once you have killed the Teostra, you will end the quest and will receive a handsome reward of 18000z.
