The quest Legiana Embodiment of Elegance involves the routine tracking down and killing of a monster. The monster may be a bit harder to kill as the chances are that you may have never faced it before. But, there is a first time for everything. So, with that said, let’s move to the basics of the quest. Your objective is to track down and then slay the monster named Legiana.
If you successfully complete the quest, you will be rewarded with a sufficient amount of 5400z. The time limit for completing the quest is 50 minutes and if you run out of that time period, you will fail the quest. Also, if you faint three times, you will fail the quest. Lastly, you need a Hunter Rank of at least 8 to start this quest. Now that the basics are out of the way, let’s dive into the quest:
1. The first thing that you should consider is to grab a ranged weapon. This is because the Legiana is a flier and unlike the Pukie-Pukie who does not use flight often, the Legiana is a frequent and quick flier and does not spend much of his time in one area.
2. So it is recommended that you get a weapon that has a long range so you can reach the monster even when it is flying. Therefore, a melee weapon that has a reach like long sword or a ranged weapon is what you should go for. You can also use the switch abe and charge blade but these will be a bit difficult to use.
3. Once the weapon is selected, you will need track the Legiana. You should start from the Northeast Camp and then exit by going through the hole towards the west. Now head down through a ramp towards the south to get to the AREA 12 where the Legiana is usually found.
4. Even if you don’t find it there, you will definitely find some tracks to get your scoutfly level up. Also keep in mind that the lair of Legiana is in the AREA 15 and it also moves between the AREA 10, 12 and 8 during the battle.
5. The head, tail and wings of the Legiana are his weak points and all of these are breakable along with the body. Its head is especially receptive to the damage and it would be great if you have a weapon to make precise attacks. Lastly, it is weak to poison ailment and thunder element.
So once you have defeated the Legiana, go ahead and carve its body. This will end the quest and you will be able to receive the reward of 5400z.
