Another quest that involves a very powerful monster that will create a lot of trouble for you. But, if you play your cards right you will be able to take this monster easily. The objective of the quest is to track and hunt a monster named Kirin. But don’t get it wrong, this is a higher ranked Kirin which means you will be facing a foe that is much stronger than the previous version and also does a lot more damage than the lower ranked Kirin.
So if you complete the objective of the quest successfully, then you will be rewarded with an adequate amount of 18000z which is not less considering that you already know many of the stunts of the opponent. You will be given a window of 50 minutes to complete the quest and if you are unable to complete it in that time, you will fail the quest. Also, if you faint three times during the quest, you will fail it. Lastly, you will need a hunter rank of 14 or higher to start the quest. So with these things in mind, let’s start the quest:
- After you have dealt with the Nergigante, talk to the impatient botanist and you will be given this quest. Be prepared for this monster as it is the higher ranked monster so eat a good meal and take all necessary weapons with you. Also, make sure to have thunder resistance as well. This is because the monster will make lightning attacks and you need protection from them to survive.
- You should also get a meal that will give you Elemental Resistance and if fails to max out your health or the stamina bars then make sure to consume the objects in the mission. These will make all the difference in your battle with the Kirin.
- So when you find the monster, just go ahead and engage with it. You have already fought its lower ranked version before so you know all of its weaknesses, strengths, vulnerable parts and attacks. Just remember that if you make it angry enough, it will throw a tantrum and will charge up and will grow stronger. When enraged, it will take less damage as well.
- You already know that Kirin is weak to fire and if you don’t have the weapon with fire element then make sure to have a blast ailment as Kirin is weak against it as well. So with these things in mind fight the Kirin and defeat it.
Once you have defeated the Kirin, you will complete the quest and will be rewarded with a decent amount of 18000z.
