Here is another quest where you will be fighting with another elder dragon. Just like the previous ones, this one is dangerous as well. There is no doubt that you have grown a lot since you fought the first elder dragon but it is always necessary to be prepared to fight a new one which is going to be stronger than the previous one. So the objective of this quest is to slay a monster named Teostra.
If you complete the objective of the quest successfully, then you will be rewarded with an adequate amount of 18000z which is not less considering that you have fought elder dragons before and know a great deal about them. You will be given a window of 50 minutes to complete the quest and if you are unable to complete it in that time, you will fail the quest. Also, if you faint three times during the quest, you will fail it. Lastly, you will need a hunter rank of 14 or higher to start the quest.
So with these things in mind, let’s start the quest:
- So before you go to your endeavor and fight the Teostra, you will have to make some necessary preparations. Make sure to eat some good meal and then take some weapons that have Water and Ice elemental properties as the Teostra is weak to both of them. Also, make sure to have poison ailment as this monster is only weak to this one.
- Once you are done with the preparations, go to the Elder’s Recess and then travel to the AREA 12. There, you will find a new path that will open to the west and will lead you to the AREA 12 where the lair of Teostra is found. When you engage with the monster, there are some things you need to know about its attacks.
- At first, the Teostra will fight you without using its fire shroud and will use a mix of different fire and physical attacks. Its common attack is the short range of arc fire that it breaths and in addition to this attacks, it can also perform a long range line of fire. It also has plenty of different charge attacks that you should dodge as best as you can.
- The head, tail and wings of Teostra are receptive to the damage and the head is the prime target of all. You can break the wings and head while its tail is severable. Lastly, Teostra is weak to the water and ice and is resistant to the Fire. Although it is not particularly weak to any ailment, it is vulnerable to the Stun and Poison ailment.
Fight the Teostra while keeping these things in mind and once you kill it, you will end the quest that will grant you a reward of 18000z.
