Question More cores?

So i know cpus are soldered on the board and there isnt really a way to upgrade them but is there a way to get a laptop more processing power from an external source

Not as far as I know. You can do external GPU if you have the right ports, but not CPU.

And if you could, it would cost more than the inexpensive laptops that are out there...

They don't exist for many reasons. My point was that a large portion of the price of a laptop is the CPU (if you have a decent one, anyway).

You should probably google "external CPU" - there are some discussions about why it is not feasible.
