Moto G for T-mobile

Does Motorola have any plans to upgrade the Moto G 3 to work with T-mo on Band 12 700 for LTE?

From what I'm seeing, they already have a variant with Band 12 support, though I don't know if that translates to it working on T-mobile's. The model number on that particular variant is XT1548.
