The Moto G isn't that bad on performance either. It has a Snapdragon 400 (quad core 1.2Ghz, not bad), 2GB of RAM, and Adreno 305. In fact it is better performance than the Galaxy S3. I would get the Moto G now if I were you. I am an owner of the Galaxy S3, it is a nice phone, but today it just not worth to get it anymore. Plus pricing difference, I am assuming you are living in the USA, the Moto G costs $200, and Galaxy S3 probably still costs 2 times as much. The only down side about the Moto G is that, you don't get micro SD card support, and those fancy functions that only Samsung phones have.
