Right. Never assume this is entirely private. Even though your browser won't store anything locally, you can bet that the company's proxy still know where you've been. In short, it's valuable for banking on a computer that can be used by someone else, but you should avoid naughty web sites when opening your browser from the company's network, private browser window or not.

That'll work, just don't forget to change your DNS server from your company issues one or they can get you there. But, that will break all your AD and local LAN access to the company.

THANK YOU for saying that... its really kinda misleading when ff says its "in private." work areas dont find out you are looking at porn from looking at your browsers cache they find out because it all goes through their firewall.

TBH those who want to go on facebook during work hours will most likely do so on their phone. During my time working for the civil service thats whats most of the employees done. There where a few that checked the news on the PC but generally so many people have web and facebook apps that they don't need a PC to access such things these days.
