MSI for Graphics and Video Editing

Advice on the best MSI (also could be another brand) for graphics and video work -- Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, Maya. Thanks.

Where do you live and what is your budget ?

I live in Spain, but I'm going to have a friend in the States ship me one from the U.S (since with the exchange rate, the price in Euros is way higher).
Budget, somewhat flexible, but depending on the configuration $1000-1300. (If absolutely necessary could go higher). Is this price reasonable for getting a good machine ?

Also two more questions: 1) GeForce vs Quadro (I heard Quadro can be enabled in software? 2) Is an SSD really necessary ?

yes, but as i said i could go somewhat higher if were truly necessary (ie cost/indispensable benefit ratio)

i also realize that this price range means i couldn't get a quadro, but my question(s) about the quadro were a) is it true that you can have a geforce but 'turn on' the quadro with just a software switch and b) how important is quadro to begin with for what i want to do with my machine
