MSI ge62 6qd or Dell inspiron 15 7000

Hi I cant decide between the two laptops. The dell is significantly cheaper than the other, however I want to play games like gta v and battlefield 4 on high settings.

Specs for msi:
i7 6700hq quad
GTX 960m 2gb
16gb ram
1TB HD

Dell:
i6700HQ
gtx 960m 4gb
8gb ram
Itb hd

Msi model is better. The dell may have more gpu ram but it is 128 bit meaning it can't use more than 2 gb thus making it irrelevant you get more for your money with the msi.

I see what you mean with the gpu but wouldn't I get more value with the Dell? unless there is something more to the msi that I've missed.

Msi has better cooling, more ram. The inspiron I hear runs very hot because it's so thin.

Good point on the cooling system for MSI, as it has the separate cooling trigger point for CPU and GPU individually. Another thing for your reference is since you're playing gta v and battlefield 4, MSI is bundled with Nihimic audio enhancer, which should favor you in the battlefields. And if you has less concern on the budget, maybe check GTX970M on these two brands?
