Hi guys,

I have the MSI GE70 Apache Pro-061 laptop and I'm thinking of upgrading it by a Seagate 600 Series SSD. If I want to keep using my old 2.5" HDD as a secondary drive, is it correct to get a 2.5" SSD? I'm afraid the SSD will take the slot of the HDD. In this Youtube guide I'm beginning to think I need to get a mSATA SSD to be able to keep using my old HDD. Would that be correct?

Solution
I don't own this laptop, but MSI website (http://www.msi.com/product/nb/GE70-2QE-Apache-Pro.html#hero-specification) states that there is only one 2.5" SATA slot and one mSATA slot. You'll have to get an mSATA SSD instead if you want to keep both.
