Solved! MSI Laptop headphone jack problem

Hello! I have an issue with my headphone jack on my GE62VR 7RF MSI laptop. The sound only comes out of the left headphone when I plug a pair in (have tried lots of different sets of headphones). The computer recognizes something being plugged into the audio port, so is it hardware? The speakers work fine. Really affects my gaming, music and movies that I watch. If you have any other questions be sure to bring them up and I will try to answer in a timely manner.

Probably a faulty headphone jack, if the channels are balanced left to right in whatever software is being used to control the settings.
