Msi laptop starts to bios only

Hey. I have an MSI GE60 Apache Pro laptop and the other day I had it suspended when my girl tripped on a cable and unplugged it (battery was not in the laptop). Naturally the laptop turned off, and when I tried to start it a few minutes later, it wouldn't. Now whenever I turn the laptop on, it goes straight into the bios without choice. I tried changing the booting order, unplugging all peripherals, using it with only the battery/cable or both but nothing changes. I noticed another difference from before and it is that as soon as I press the power button, it turns red (indicating the use of the dedicated gpu) whereas before it was blue (IGP in use) until I started gaming.
Please help me with this

It could be many things. Without opening it up and looking you won't be able to tell for sure. I would start with the drive and make sure it wasn't knocked loose. And hopefully not damaged in the fall, which is totally possible.

The laptop didn't fall or move at all, the plug came off the wall socket (it was an extension). I can see the hdd on the bios menu, so it is there...

I see. However, the yank still could have caused internal damage. I would still have it looked at.
