MX6445 Sound Issues

So, I have a Gateway Laptop MX6445 and it came with XP... I installed W7, but now the sound does not work... I have the correct driver (AC 7')... I keep getting an error "No Audio Output Device is Installed"... Did I screw up my laptop...?

Hi

Look in device manager for exclamation marks on sound...

Then reinstall the CORRECT sound driver....

Ummm... No... LOL. It turns out the OS I was tring to install was not compatiable, but thanks anyway...
