just shut it self down when I went to turn it back on I get error code 01cx0000185. I was running running Windows 8.1 and had upgraded to windows 10. I've tried putting in my windows disc and it appears like it wants to boot. I get the windows logo and the little round thinking dial. Then the laptop just goes completely quiet like everything just stops and I get a black blank screen . How do I fix this?

- Start by doing a hard reboot, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then try reloading Windows again.

If it will not work I would suggest taking the HDD off the laptop and install it onto a different PC and try installing Windows from there. You can also just do a clean install of Windows 10 instead.
