My acer laptop constantly says shutting down and doesn't switch off. What do I do to get it fully off. As its not responding to the power button.

Is an instant shutdown button
Or do I have to wait until the battery is flat?

Hi,

Please do try doing a hard reboot, press and hold the power button until it completely shutdown. Once it completely shutdown, do boot it up and start it up normally and see if it will work normally again when you shut it down.
