My analog tv is hooked up to a digital adapter it's making a loud screeching noise what can I do

I tried two other analog tv's the same problem

If the TVs don't make the noise when the digital adapter is disconnected then the adapter is the problem. If the adapter has a wall wart plug in power supply that could be bad.
