My asus x453 is not turning on and not charging

I shut down my laptop properly the other day then today when I use it again, it's not turning on. I don't know why. I tried to charge it but the LED is OFF!

Pls help me...

It's got to be either the charger failed or the battery isn't taking a charge. Remove the battery and see if the laptop will start with the charger plugged in.

sounds like to power adapter has died as there should be a light on when connected to a working power adapter. can you borrow a friend's power adapter that has the same connector, same voltage & same amps\watts or higher as your's?

My laptop's battery is built in.. And My charger work just fine, i tried it with my friends laptop..
