My computor will not umute cant hear a thing

my computor will not unmute i press the unmute button and it will not speak i need some trouble shooting steps nice and detailed

If that button is stuck down and not working, go to Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices to turn sound back on and don't use the Mute button again unless you want to through the same old routine.

hi thanks i did that the keyboard buttons are fine what else can i do

I also went todevice drivers and i went to device manager and checked the drivers for SOUND VIDEO AND GAME CONTROLLERS- AND CHECKED THE 2 ITEMS THAT CAME UP AND THE MESSAGE WAS DRIVER WAS INSTALLED AND WORKING FOR BOTH then i checked the 2 high definition audio controller and the messaage was for both device working properly
