My dell e1505 laptop diplay not working

My dell e1505 laptop diplay is not working while its in battery mode with adapter it is working fine is there any solution

Go into the BIOS and raise video Brightness to the same as Brightness (AC). If the inverter is starting to go then the lower brightness settings may just stay black.
