My Dell is about to explod I guess... it overheats like crazy!!!!!

My Dell Inspiron Laptop overheats and makes a crazy grinding noise!!!! no BIOS update is available... what are my options?

Clean it out... blow out all the dust with compressed air

And replace the fan most likely, the grinding is probably a worn sleeve bearing.

Mine is an Inspiron 5557, can you help me find the specific one to this model.....

Cant find it on google by model number, you need to see the dell part number on a sticker on the fan and match that on ebay or amazon. The service manual should help you find it, page 31 deals with the fan, take the bottom cover off, and see if the label is visible without removing other items.

You could also take it to a computer shop. It would be cheaper than buying a new laptop.
