my E627 will not boot. only a black screen.

When i turn on my acer E627 the fans turn on but all i get is a black screen. The computer seems to be on but the sceen is dead.

Hi, try an external monitor, you will see if the problem is your laptop screen.

If you have no picture on an external monitor either then it means your display adapter (the hardware that drives the screen/produces a picture) is faulty.
