I just bought my first ColecoVision at a 2nd hand store for $20
(Canadian) complete with the games listed below.
I'm a lot more familiar with the Atari 2600 I've had since 1984. I knew
Coleco exited but don't remember seeing one at the stores and probably
why I never wanted one. The unit's more bulkier than Atari VCS, lacks
difficulty switches etc, and for some reason has the power supply
outside. Of course if it were inside the Coleco Vision itself would have
to be even bigger. The graphics and sounds are more advance that Atari
VCS. Was that the reason for having to build it this way?
Anyway, here's a list of games that came with it.
I'm curious to know the rarity and any easter eggs in each.
COSMIC AVENGER
BLACKJACK / POKER (Ken Uston's)
BUCK ROGERS - planet of zoom
CENTIPEDE
DEFENDER
GORF
LOGIC LEVELS (Fisher-Price) by Frieda Lekkerker inc. '84
MOON SWEEPER '83
MOUSE TRAP
MR. DO!
PEPPER II
SUBROC
STAR TREK - strategic operations simulator ('83 Sega Enterprise inc.)
STAR WARS '83
SMURF - rescue in Gargamel's Castle
Q*BERT'S QUBES
VENTURE
WAR-ROOM (by RoSHa Harris 1982 Hap Consumer Elec.)
ZAXXON (The Official Zaxxon)
