I'm getting so frustrated at my Asus G51VX. Randomly the temp sensor on the GTX260M will just go from 78-85 or so to 242 and then stay at 242 until it just decides to come back. This renders the computer pretty much useless outside of web browsing and word processing because it throttles the GPU so much. Rebooting does nothing. Taking the battery out overnight and trying in the morning does nothing.
I already peeled off the bottom plate and cleaned all the vents, etc etc.

Any ideas about what is wrong and what I can do to fix it. The Card itself works great when it works.

I'm using Gpu-Z, also the same reading is coming from the Nvdia tool.
Here's the temp log from Gpu-Z.
