My HDMI from my computer to my tv won't wok anymore...and I notice that the little box that identifies (480i) on the TV won't display anything for my connection

Try a different HDMI cable.
Try a different HDMI input on the TV.
Try changing the order you boot the computer and select the input on the TV.
Your computer can't output 480 interlaced. Computers only output in progressive. Set the computer to output in the native resolution of the TV.
