My headohones aren't showing up in my Control Panel

So I went to go select my headphones in my Control Panel, and they didn't show up. I tried plugging them in and out again multiple times, restarting my laptop, checking to make sure my headphones worked. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem? My headphones have always worked with my laptop until today.

When you say control panel do you mean device manager or your playback devices menu?
Which headphones are these?
Do they work on another laptop/desktop/phone?
Is there a specific thing happen or you did when this stared? eg. Did you drop the laptop/headphones?
Have you tried another pair of headphones/speakers in the laptops 3.5mm jack?
