What are you connected to?

I would expect an external speaker perhaps but you need to provide more details in any case.

In the meantime are you sure that nothing is muted? That the wiring is all snug and tight.

Have you tried a different connection cable - whatever you are using.....

Do the TV speakers work on their own?

Do the connected speakers (if any) work with another device?
