My laptop can't restart.

so my msi ge72 apache pro 6qf laptop can't restart now. i just got a samsung ssd pro 960 512 gb and everything works ok but when i restart if i need to install some new software it is just stuck on the MSI lgo on the boot. then i have to power down and power back up via the power button. what do i do? it is not a life ruining bug but i don't like it.

Do a hard reset, unplug AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 10 seconds then try booting the laptop. Once booted to main screen, try to disable startup programs and do a restart.
