Hi! I'm looking for a cheap laptop to play games on low settings on - any suggestions? 
1. What is your budget? 500 EUR / 420 GBP / 690 USD - I can probably stretch it to 600 EUR if I have to!
2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? At the moment I have a 16" widescreen which I like, but this isn't that important.
3. What screen resolution do you want? As much as possible within my budget.
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? As portable as possible within my budget.
5. How much battery life do you need? As much as possible within my budget.
(For questions 3, 4 and 5 - I'm happy to compromise to fit the budget, as long as I can play games on low settings )
6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)? Yes! Total War: Rome II, Medieval II: Total War, World of Warcraft, Skyrim, etc. Low resolution is fine as long as they don't lag.
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.) Viewing Photos & Videos, Internet, YouTube, Word Processing, etc.
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need? As much as possible within my budget.
9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links. I like my Acer Aspire 6930, so I first looked at Acers. Acer V3? http

The main thing is that the keyboard is satisfying to click (unlike MacBook Pro) and the mouse has separate buttons!
10. How long do you want to keep your laptop? As long as possible - the next few years hopefully (I'm going to university in 2014).
11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc? Able to install games and make video/photo CD/DVDs.
12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons. I like Acer simply because that's what I've got now. I don't like change
, but I suppose I'll survive with another model!
13. What country do you live in? UK & Italy - I hop back and forth.
14. Please tell us any additional information if needed. None that I can think of - ask anything!
