What is actually loading up? What is your OS?
Have you tried to boot into safe mode? In case you haven't, you can try that: http
/www.howtogeek.com/107511/how-to-boot-into-safe-mode-on-windows-8-the-easy-way/
If you manage to do that, it may be a really good idea to back up the data sotred on the drive.
Then, you can run startup repair. You've got a Win CD right?
