My laptop is no longer showing a wifi connection only broadband

I was connected to the internet via wifi, all of a sudden it went to limited wifi and now it is only showing where I can connect with a cable It is a laptop and is supposed to be wireless, help me please

Your laptop won't show it without an ethernet cable unless your wifi is working OK. Just do a Connect to a Network.
