Question unknown wifi network

Hi, can anyone help me please...
This might be nothing but it puzzles me and please excuse my ignorance.
On my laptop, no matter where i take the laptop, there is always a wifi network connection called "EE WiFi".
It happens at home, if i go into town, if i go shopping. No matter where i take the laptop this wifi network connection is always there.
Is there any logical explanation for this?

Is this a saved network? Or one you see in different locations that you can connect to?

Who is your regular ISP?

Do you have an open hotspot on your phone named as such?

Hi, its not a saved network, its one i see in different locations that i can connect to.
My last ISP was BT but I just moved and before there was any internet working, this "EE WiFi" network was there (it was also there at my last house)
I have no open hotspot on my phone and wi-fi is always turned off.

I have never used EE, so i have never purchased the above.

Looks like they have hotspots all over the place. If you aren't a user, just ignore.

There is no risk from these networks. You aren't connecting to them, nor the other way around.
