my laptop keyboaed is typing wrong characters when i typed square brackets it shows me this^^

whenever i typed square brackets or curly brackets its shows me ^^¨¨ this symbols . please help.

What keyboard layout are you using? Try to change it for English - US. You do that from:
Control Panel > Language > Add language (Windows 8 and higher)
Control Panel > Region and Language > Keyboard and Languages > Add. > English (US) (Windows 7)
