d3dx9_41 is one of the files for the updated DX9 specification DX 9.0c, which is downloadable from Microsoft. This is done through the Direct X Web Installer. Near as I can tell, this is the current location to the package:

I'm using windows 10. when I start the game , the screen turn black and it gives "cricket07.exe has stop working'

Unfortunately, win 10 can't run dx9 application due to the updated dx12 and some missing dx9 files

Sure it can; just like Vista/7, you can still run legacy DX9 titles provided you update to the latest version.

Now, the game may crash for other reasons, but DX9 apps are fully compatible.

Mmmm... i mean games 😀

lot of my games on windows 10 (I'm a windows 10 user, so i experienced by myself) are constantly crashes without exact reason. But, yeah DX9 apps are fully compatible.

You can try "windows xp compatibility mode" located at properties > compatibility tab.
See if it can solve your problem.

Try to updating the driver and dx9 binary, that integrated gpu should perform well with dx9.
And what about xp compatibility mode? It's solve your problem???

If this worked before you installed 10, check for drivers for your system from the laptop vendor. If you have never tried that game before, check the requirements for it and see if your onboard video hardware can run it.
