My Laptop problem :(

My laptop is low charge 5%. When i turn on my laptop it works but if i plug my charger it turns off automaticly. Please help me

leave pluged in till battery is charged more.

go under power options
change plan settings,
change advance settings.
go to battery section
there u will see low and critical settings.
make the low and critical % match for when pluged in and not pluged in.

chances are ur critical setting on battery is set lower then critical setting pluged in. so when u plug it in ur on battery critical is 5% so it hasn't shut off yet but ur pluged in critical is (for example) 10%. well since ur battery is less then that it shuts off. all u have to do is make ur on battery match ur pluged in settings.
