Solved! my laptops wifi is damaged

my laptops WiFi is damaged.
i used to connect through broadband connection using tp-link wireless router through the Ethernet port 1.
now with high mobile data i am planning to use WiFi hotspot of my mobile to connect my laptop through Ethernet cable using the tp-link router. i have been able to connect my WiFi hotspot to the router but am unable to get internet on my laptop. please help

If you are using windows 10 , go to device manager (type it in start), now window should open,
under "Network adapters" (click on arrow -> to expand) not sure how's your wifi adapter called or what you have installed from others softwares, you should take screenshot of it soo i can guide you to uninstall correct one and reboot the laptop and the device should reinstall itself.
