Solved! My Lenovo c470 will not switch on

Could be a dead motherboard or power connector on the system if a new power brick did not help.

Try opening it, remove the RAM and drive, see if it turns on then. Another option is to unplug from wall power, remove the CMOS battery from motherboard, hold in the power button for about 30 seconds. Then plug in wall power without CMOS battery and see if it turns on. If not, you can pretty much say the motherboard is bad.
