Question My Lenovo Laptop Delay in Switching on

Lenovo laptop Battery disconnected from board because the laptop was not switching on.Now its connected directly to Plug in.My issue is the laptop has to be connected to plug for atleast half an hour for it to switch on .If i switch off the plug at night and try to switch it on next day i need to wait for atleast half an hour for it to switch on.
Pls advice

Have you tried using a different power adapter that meets your laptop's specifications?

I took it to a shop.They connected with their cable to my adapter and it switched on immediately.They checked my cable with voltmeter and said its also working fine.Wondering whats the issue then.

So your power adapter worked at the shop and not by you?
Then maybe it's the outlet.
