My LG Stylo 2 fell in water

Can someone suggest ways I will be able to retrieve the internal memory? Because I have a screen lock and the screen will not power on I can not see anything once I connect it to my computer.

The trick with a drowned phone is to smother it with uncooked rice so the grains can absorb the water. Depending on how long ago this happened, you might work and it's definitely worth a shot.
