Hi,
Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- First, do make sure that the correct recording device is set as default.
- Right click on the speaker icon and select Recording Devices.
- If you see your Microphone listed, right click on it and select Set Defaults.
- Make sure that the Levels are all the way up to 100% as well.
- Right click on the default mic and select Properties.
- Click on Levels tab and make sure to set it to 100%.
- Click Apply and OK then test it again.
- If the same problem will persist uninstall/reinstall the Sound card driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Sound driver.
- Once uninstalled, download and install the latest driver from the manufacturer site.
- Reboot the PC once installed then test it again.
